Halloween Classroom Door

 HALLOWEEN DOOR

Halloween is almost here, and my school has organized a Halloween door decorating contest. Halloween classroom door decorations are one of the most fun ways to get the school ready for spooky season. I love creating Halloween materials, but I consider Halloween Door Contest as a chance for kids to create their own materials and participate in this collaborative task to make Halloween door decor for the classroom. Kids love arriving to see the spooktacular door all grades have decorated but they especially love the one they have created. So, here it is, my Halloween classroom door idea and my guide about how to win a Halloween door decorating contest!!!

I have designed easy Halloween classroom door decorations that teachers just need to print!  My Halloween classroom door design is a poster made up of 30 pieces that, when pieced together, cover a regular size door, but I have included 6 extra pieces to make the word “Halloween” just in case your door is larger than mine. However you do it, you can always modify the print options to adapt the Halloween classroom pieces to the size you need. The poster is divided into pieces because this way every student can decorate one part of our Halloween door and collaborate in our Halloween classroom door displays. This Halloween classroom door decoration has no colors assigned so your students can color the pages the way they like but I have included a colored poster which I normally project on the whiteboard to help kids color our scary Halloween classroom door.

Then students will color their assigned piece, cut it out, and the poster gets assembled and displayed on your classroom door. Every page has a letter and a number in order to know the place of the sheet on the door, so it’s easy to get our cute Halloween classroom door.

My resource includes some bats that will make our kindergarten Halloween door decorations, the best Halloween classroom door!

Students can color the bats as they want but I asked them to draw their own faces on the bats and glue them onto the final poster. Just glue their heads to allow the bat wings to move. This is the result of my spooky Halloween classroom door!

My collaboration Halloween door is so much fun and super simple! All you need is glue, paint and a little imagination for making this easy Halloween classroom door. I have also included a coloring sheet with the same design of the door for your students to color.
